Palliative and Pain Management from licensed nurses

When an illness is serious, comfort matters as much as anything else. Many people want to spend this time at home, close to the people and things they love.

Our nurses assess pain and other symptoms, work with the physician on comfort medications, and help families understand what's happening and what to expect. We coordinate with hospice providers when that becomes the right step.

Our nurses provide palliative and pain management in homes across the San Fernando Valley, Thousand Oaks, Santa Clarita and Valencia, and the Westside from Brentwood to Bel Air.

FAQ

Common questions about palliative and pain management

Is palliative care the same as hospice?

No. Palliative care focuses on comfort and can happen alongside treatment. Hospice is for people who are no longer pursuing curative treatment.

Can you help us talk with the doctor?

Yes. We can help you prepare questions and make sure the physician hears what you're seeing at home.

Do you provide 24-hour care?

Skilled nursing visits are intermittent. Contact our office to discuss your family's needs and other resources.
